Nyambiro Village Building Project
Having been inspired by our late partner Gift Chinsomba, we began transforming Nyambiro Village, a rural community of 14,000 in Ngabu, Malawi, by addressing critical needs for education, care, and empowerment.

LIVN Global is building the Gift Chinsomba Centre, which is a two-story multi-purpose facility that will serve as a primary school for quality education, an orphanage providing a safe home for vulnerable children, and a widows’ feeding center offering nutritious meals and support, fostering hope, opportunity, and unity for widows, orphans, and youth in the community.

Access to clean water is the cornerstone of a healthy community. We have established a borehole in Nyambiro Village, providing safe, reliable water to thousands of families. This vital resource has reduced waterborne illnesses, eased daily burdens, and laid the foundation for a stronger, healthier future.

Empowering Widows
Widows in Nyambiro are at the heart of our mission. We’re launching programs to equip them with practical skills such as tailoring, farming, and small business management to generate sustainable income and regain independence. Alongside this, our community-based mental health initiatives offer counseling and peer support, creating safe spaces for healing and resilience.

First Prison Project
At LIVN Global, we’re transforming lives at Chikwawa Prison, a maximum-security facility in Malawi, through our Maize Grinder Installation project. This initiative ensures food security by providing a reliable source of maize meal, a dietary staple, for thousands of inmates, staff, and vulnerable children, while also offering affordable grinding services to surrounding communities.
LIVN Global is working hand in hand with professional workers and Chikwawa’s inmates to design and build this machinery. By involving prisoners in the construction process, we’re fostering a sense of ownership, purpose, and pride while imparting valuable technical skills.

This collaborative spirit ensures the project is not just for the community – it’s by the community. The income generated is reinvested into the prison, funding equipment and materials for skills training programs in carpentry, tailoring, and metalwork, creating a sustainable cycle of nutrition, empowerment, and opportunity for inmates to rebuild their futures.

Second Prison Project
At LIVN Global, we’re empowering young men at Bvumbwe Juvenile Centre in Malawi by establishing an academic library to support hundreds of inmates pursuing secondary education.

Equipped with computers, educational software, and reliable study materials, this transformative resource fosters critical thinking, research skills, and academic success, serving as a cornerstone for rehabilitation. In collaboration with inmates, staff, and local vendors, we’re building a community-driven project that not only provides hands-on skills and purpose for inmates but also supports the regional economy, creating a shared vision of hope and opportunity.
